International Innovation and Invention Competition (IIIC) event established in 2010, it organized by CIIS in Taiwan. With the support of Salon«ARCHIMEDES», and international organization IFIA. This event is now in its 7th year. This year, there are 456 inventions from 14 countries, which are Taiwan, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Japan, Russia, Croatia, Serbia, The Republic of Kazakhstan, India, Morocco, Korea. There are 70% inventions are the research and development outcomes of technological universities, and 30% inventions are from youth inventors, they are elementary, middle and high school students. To encourage youth inventors is a very important mission for CIIS. In this event, total of 111 gold, 82 silver and 22 bronze medals were awarded, and a grand award ceremony was held at the Taipei Ambassador Hotel on December 15th.
